Stellenbosch, South Africa, is a breathtaking university town nestled in the foothills of the Hottentots-Holland mountain range, beneath the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve. Stellenbosch is sheltered in the Jonkershoek valley and is surrounded by soaring mountains on all sides. With dry, warm summers and cool, rainy winters, you'll rarely see snow in this gorgeous locale!
Known as the center of the South African wine industry, Stellenbosch is the second oldest European settlement in the province after Cape Town.
