Geography in The British Isles - Spring Break 2014


Dates: March 14 - March 22, 2014
Estimated Cost: $3234 including airfare, hotels, breakfast daily and five dinners. Students will need to budget ~$300 for lunches and dinners and tips.

Description:
1.Day 1: Fly overnight to Ireland
2.Day 2: Shannon • Killarney -Meet your Tour Director at the airport
-Travel to Killarney

3.Day 3: Killarney -Take an excursion to the Ring of Kerry
-Visit the Bog Village Museum

4.Day 4: Killarney • Dublin -Visit Blarney Castle
-See Cashel Rock
-Continue on to Dublin

Day 5: Dublin -Take a guided tour of Dublin
-See the Book of Kells at Trinity College
-Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral

6.Day 6: Dublin • North Wales -Take a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead
-Visit a Welsh castle
-Travel through Snowdonia to North Wales

7.Day 7: Stratford • Oxford • London -Take a tour of Stratford
-Visit Shakespeare's birthplace
-Visit the gardens at Anne Hathaway's cottage
-Take a tour of Oxford
-Travel to London

Day 8: London -Take a guided tour of London

150 days or more prior to departure: Full refund minus $95 Enrollment fee and $300 cancellation fee

149 to 110 days prior to departure: Full refund minus $95 enrollment fee and $500 cancellation fee.

109 to 30 days prior to departure: Full refund minus $95 Enrollment fee and 50% of the program fee

29 days or less prior to departure: No refunds will be issued.

PSU encourages all students to purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect their investment. On this particular program, trip cancellation insurance is also available through EF Tours.
