PSU Strides to China and Hong Kong 2015

Dates: May 9-22, 2015

The program consists of business lectures, field trips to industrial and cultural sites, and other activities. The experience of a study trip to Guanzhou, China will expand student’s knowledge base, that is, in often cases, confined in classrooms. 

The program consists of various activities that may include:

City tours to Hong Kong and Shenzhen

Hong Kong (2 days)
Hong Kong Stock Exchange Markets (HKEX), sightseeing, cultural places and shopping districts

Shenzhen (2 days)
Companies, cultural places, sightseeing, and market places

Guangzhou (Canton), a city of 12 million people, is a modernized city where countless cultural heritages are still extant. 70% of industrial production in China is located in Guangzhou. Being an excellent port on the Pearl River navigable to the South China Sea, and with fast accessibility to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Macau, Guangzhou serves as the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural center. The program includes the city trips to Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Payment plan: 
1st deposit: $500 by December 12, 2014 (non-refundable)
2nd  payment: $500 by January 16, 2015
3rd payment: $667.18 by February 13, 2015

Refund policy: no refunds can be issued under any circumstances after February 1, 2015.

All students are encouraged to purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect their investment.
