Multiculturalism in Medicine with Dr. Mandy Peak - Peru 2014

Dates: Travel course: May 22 - June 2, 2014
On campus course: Spring semester
Estimated cost: $3184.00 includes airfare, meals, lodging, and trip to Machu Picchu
Course: BIOL 602-21 & 602-81: Multiculturalism in Medicine in Peru (4 credit hours total)

The course is intended primarily for students planning on applying to medical and dental school but would be of benefit to any student interested in health care in developing nations. Course includes onsite participation in health clinics, and lectures by health care professionals. Participants should expect practical clinical experience in providing health care to underserved populations and practice in cross-cultural communication in the health care setting.

through 1/17/2014 - 50% minus $350 deposit

*Full refund sans $350 administrative fee is available through 12/15/2012, assuming a replacement is found. You are entitled to a partial refund, as long as airline tickets have not been purchased, until 1/17/2014.

All students are advised to purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect their investment.
